## Description

## **Overview**

The Project Engineer supports Project Managers and Superintendents in the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of commercial construction projects. This role helps manage project documentation, schedules, subcontractor coordination, and project administration to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

## **What You'll Do**

  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Distribute project plans, specifications, and updates to subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams.
  • Support permitting, notices, and other project-related approvals and documentation.
  • Review and track submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, change orders, and project logs.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, and project stakeholders to keep projects moving forward.
  • Participate in preconstruction meetings, trade coordination meetings, and project planning sessions.
  • Assist with material procurement, delivery schedules, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Support project cost tracking, invoicing, and change order management.
  • Maintain accurate project records, reports, and construction documentation.
  • Assist with punch lists, project closeout, as-built drawings, owner training, occupancy permits, and warranty follow-up.
  • Promote compliance with company policies, project procedures, and safety requirements.

## Qualifications
## **What We're Looking For**

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, building codes, estimating, and project coordination.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain certification.
