About The Role
## Description
## **Overview**
The General Construction Laborer supports commercial construction projects by assisting skilled tradespeople, preparing job sites, handling materials, and helping maintain a safe and organized work environment.
## **What You'll Do**
- Assist carpenters and other trades with daily construction activities.
- Load, unload, transport, and organize materials, tools, and equipment.
- Assist with material placement, lifting, positioning, and installation activities.
- Perform demolition, cleanup, and general site preparation work.
- Inventory materials and restock supplies as needed.
- Erect and work from ladders and scaffolding as directed.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Follow company safety policies and jobsite procedures.
- Complete other duties as assigned to support project needs.

## Qualifications
## **What We're Looking For**
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Two (2) years of commercial construction experience preferred
- Ability to follow directions and adapt to changing jobsite priorities
- Strong work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team
- Ability to safely use basic construction tools and equipment
- Ability to meet physical job requirements, including: Standing or walking for extended periods, lifting and carrying 50-100 pounds, climbing ladders and scaffolding, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, working outdoors in varying weather conditions
