# Custodian - Full-Time
**Location:** West GA LaGrange Campus, LaGrange, GA
**Schedule:** Monday-Thursday, 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
**Pay:** $12.00 per hour
**Employment Type:** Full-Time
### Position Summary
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming campus environment for students, staff, and visitors.
### Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and spot-clean floors and carpets
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors
• Empty trash containers and replace liners
• Refill restroom and cleaning supplies as needed
• Dust furniture, windowsills, ledges, and common surfaces
• Clean glass doors, windows, and partition glass
• Clean and sanitize break rooms, kitchens, drinking fountains, and common areas
• Maintain janitorial closets and cleaning equipment
• Secure buildings by ensuring doors are locked and lights are turned off after cleaning

• Offices and administrative areas
• Lobbies and common areas
• Break rooms and kitchens
• Restrooms
• Hallways, stairways, and classrooms
• Conference rooms, computer labs, and mailrooms

### Qualifications

• Reliable with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to perform routine cleaning duties, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting
• Previous custodial or janitorial experience is preferred but not required

### Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and twisting
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to operate standard custodial equipment such as vacuums, mops, brooms, and floor care equipment
• Ability to work safely with cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Ability to climb stairs and work in various areas throughout the campus
• Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks during the scheduled shift
• Must be able to work independently and maintain consistent attendance

### Additional Information

• Background check required prior to employment.
• Fingerprint-based screening may be required due to campus security requirements.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
