Shift Lead

## Description
**Purpose:** Work with supervisor for Production Department.
**Reports to:** Supervisor
**Conditions:** Work on floor to manage Production, conduct audits and resolve Quality issues.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities:**

• Human Resources
• Enforce Safety requirements within the facility.
• Follow and support all food safety programs, policies and PPE as designated.
• Administrative
• Maintain daily Production and labor inputs.
• Coordinate daily planning with Supervisor.
• Help train all non-maintenance personnel.
• Follow machine cleaning and zone housekeeping procedures throughout the plant.
• Serve on the Safety Committee.
• Work Focus
• Flexible hours to accomplish required objectives.
• Regularly review progress with the Supervisor.
• Preserve the safety and integrity of the Company.
• Lead employees toward continuous improvement in systems, equipment and performance.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by Plant Manager.

## Qualifications
**Qualifications & Requirements:**

• Organized, detail oriented
• Understand the required compliance components for AIB, SFI and ISO
• Excellent trouble-shooting skills for Quality issues
• Competent in the use of the company’s Amtech and Quality System software and processes
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and analytical skills
• Strong continuous improvement mindset
