Paint Department-Full Time

## Description
Must be willing to work Evenings and Weekends.
**Primary Job Functions:**

• Mix paint
• Offer color matching expertise and paint product selection advice
• Maintain the paint counter and aisles on a daily basis
• Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements
• Knowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials used in the painting industry
• Knowledge in the preparation and application of paints to different types of surfaces
• Knowledge in estimating time and material requirements for work projects
• Customer Service (help customers find what they need in a professional and courteous manner)

**Secondary Job Functions:**

• Help load merchandise for customers
• Help check in freight
• Cleaning and stocking merchandise
• Ordering merchandise
• Updating prices
• Answer telephone

## Qualifications
**Qualifications:**

• H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. is preferred
• Retail experience, paint experience, and a painter is a plus
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours; including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to operate office machines, computers, Excel is a plus
• Knowledge of merchandise
• Self-motivated
• Organized
• Good physical condition for lifting
