## Description

The Assistant Project Manager (APM) is an essential member of the Veridus Owner’s Representative team, providing support to Project Managers and Project Executives to ensure the successful planning and delivery of client projects. The APM supports the execution of project deliverables by tracking tasks, assisting in coordination, and managing project documentation. This role is intended to provide a career development path into project management through hands-on learning, consistent execution, and service to internal teams and external clients.

## Qualifications

  1. **Duties & Responsibilities**
  2. Project document review and organization
  3. Budget tracking and basic budget review
  4. Pay application review and tracking
  5. Project schedule tracking and updates
  6. Maintain knowledge of and engage in training and the Veridus playbook
  7. Support and model company culture internally and externally
  8. Respond professionally to clients and stakeholders
  9. Support coordination and development of team tasks and responsibilities
  10. Conduct research and due diligence for project support
  11. Contribute to exceeding client expectations through dependable service
  12. Participate in public engagement when needed
  13. Ability to travel regularly between project sites and safely operate a motor vehicle as part of essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

  15. **Education and Experience**

**Education**

  1. A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  2. Certifications are preferred
  3. **Experience**
  4. Entry-level experience in construction or project management preferred
  5. History of leadership positions in non-work related activities (ie. non-profits, volunteer, etc.)
