Catering Sales Associate - Outside Sales

## Description

Job Purpose

• The Catering Sales Associate drives new business development, nurtures client relationships, manages event contracts, and ensures a seamless customer experience from first contact through the final event.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively pursue new catering clients.
• Conduct in-person visits, presentations, follow-up meetings, and outreach events to grow LA Caterings' client base.
• Build strong relationships with event coordinators and wedding planners to help develop sales for onsite Event Center.

## Qualifications

Required Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Education

• Associate degree in Business, Hospitality, Food Service, or a related field strongly preferred; long-term sales experience in a related field will be considered.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in catering, food service sales, event planning, or related customer service roles.
• Proven track record of successfully developing new business and maintaining client relationships.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Ability to perform manual tasks, including event setup, teardown, and lifting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and industry professionals.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct in-person visits, presentations, follow-up meetings, and outreach events.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using sales and customer relationship management software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
