Hot Meals Driver - Dayton

## Description

Job Purpose

• This position is responsible for delivering meals and other assigned items to clients in the Greater Dayton Area using your personal vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for delivering ordered meals and other assigned items to clients in Central Ohio using personal vehicle.
• Check orders, count meals and beverages, and ensure accuracy before delivery.
• Load and deliver meals, cases of Ensure, written materials, client contribution envelopes, and other items.
• Ensure timely and safe delivery of items to clients.
• Maintain communication with the dispatch team for any updates or changes in delivery routes.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients, ensuring their needs are met and addressing any concerns during delivery.
• Follow all safety and health protocols while handling and delivering food items.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries and any client interactions for reporting purposes.

## Qualifications

Required Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Required Experience

• Experience in delivery or courier services using a personal vehicle.
• Familiarity with the Greater Dayton Area and Central Ohio for efficient route planning.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with older adults and handicapped individuals.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Ability to manage time effectively to ensure timely deliveries.
• Strong organizational skills for checking orders and counting items accurately.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and handling written materials.
• Physical ability to load and deliver meals, beverages, and other items safely.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for transportation.
