About The Role
## Description
SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
The Shuttle Driver is responsible to drive customers to or from their home or work while service is being performed on their vehicles as a courtesy service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Drives customers to or from their homes or work and picks them up after their vehicle is repaired.
- Follows all traffic laws and company policies.
- Uses good judgment and safe driving skills.
- Keeps a timely shuttle route.
- Assists passengers getting in and out of vehicles.
- Operates radio or similar device to communicate with dealership or other vehicles to report disruption of service.
- Supports and assists Porters/Detailers when no customer transportation is required.
- Notifies dispatcher or service manager of any servicing the shuttle vehicle may require, such as oil changes, tires, cleaning and general maintenance.
- Demonstrates professional behavior.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Duties are performed primarily in the PDI work area and on the road. Work includes movement around vehicles, working in various physical positions, and the safe operation of vehicles. May be exposed to loud noise, vibration, exhaust fumes, and other service and repair conditions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see, talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift/carry at least 50 lbs.
POSITION TYPE
This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Must be able to work 8 hours a day and will be given a regular day off.

## Qualifications
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Able to anticipate and understand customer’s needs and provide viable solutions.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication expertise.
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
- Valid Chauffeurs Driver’s License
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- HS diploma or GED equivalent.
