The Sumter Family YMCA is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused **Membership Representative** to join our team. If you enjoy helping others, creating a welcoming environment, and making a positive impact in your community, we’d love to hear from you!

**Position: Membership Representative**

**Part-Time**

**Schedule:**

• Monday: **8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.**
• Tuesday: **10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.**
• Wednesday: **8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.**
• Thursday: **10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.**
• Rotating Saturdays (as needed): **1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.**

**Responsibilities:**

• Welcome members and guests with exceptional customer service.
• Answer phones and respond to member questions.
• Process memberships, program registrations, and payments.
• Assist with membership inquiries, account updates, and general administrative tasks.
• Promote YMCA programs, events, and membership opportunities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area.
• Support the YMCA’s mission by creating a welcoming environment for members of all ages.

## Qualifications
**Qualifications:**

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong computer and cash-handling skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, professional, and team oriented.
• Previous customer service, retail, receptionist, or front desk experience is preferred but not required.
