# Job Summary

*Variable hours - days/evenings with up to an every other weekend rotation.*

Provide phlebotomy assistance when needed, receiving and processing of specimens prior to testing, performing limited laboratory waived testing, prepare samples for send-out, answer lab phone calls and respond to customer concerns/questions promptly, participate in inventory management, and assist with moderate complexity testing where applicable.

## Qualifications
**Requirements**
**Education:** High School Diploma or equivalent.
**Required Experience**: 6 – 12 months
**Special Skills and Abilities:**

• Phlebotomy competency/experience

• **Licensure/Certification/Registration:** Clinical Laboratory Assistant (CLA) certification, and Phlebotomy certification/training.
