Dishwasher

## Description
**Shift Information: 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. (16 hours per week, and every other weekend and holiday)**
***About the Position***
The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining the kitchen work areas, equipment, plate ware, and utensils in a clean, sanitary, and organized manner.
***Essential Duties and Responsibilities:***

• Scrapes and pre-rinses food from dishes, silverware, utensils, and small wares and places them in racks.
• Sends racks of soiled dishes, silverware, utensils, and small wares through the dishwashing machine.
• Ensures that all items that run through the dishwashing machine are clean before putting items away.
• Washes pots, pans, and heavily soiled items by hand and then runs them through the dishwashing machine.
• Maintains dishwashing machine, including ensuing proper temperatures, throughout the shift.
• Sorts and stacks clean dishes. Places clean items back on shelves or in drawers and ensures they are ready for service.
• Performs cleaning tasks according to the cleaning schedule.
• Cleans the dishwashing machine at the end of each shift.
• Removes trash and garbage and places it in the dumpster.
• Removes recyclable items and places in proper receptacle.
