About The Role
## Description
Responsible for developing, improving, and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production, high quality standards, and on-time delivery. This position works closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Programming teams to support new and existing product lines while ensuring manufacturability and process consistency.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- - Develop and maintain manufacturing processes, routings, and work instructions
- Review engineering drawings and specifications to ensure manufacturability
- Provide technical support to production teams to resolve manufacturing issues
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Support new product introduction (NPI) from concept through production
- Collaborate with Programming, Quality, and Production to optimize cycle times and workflows
- Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and process improvements
- Analyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, quality standards, and regulatory requirements (including ITAR as applicable)
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for production and quality issues
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives (lean manufacturing, 5S, waste reduction)
- Provide guidance and support to Level I Engineers as needed
- Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- Support production goals in terms of efficiency, quality, and throughput
- Miscellaneous tasks as assigned
## Qualifications
**EXPERIENCE**
- Minimum of three years’ experience in an aerospace/aircraft machine shop or manufacturing environment
- Experience with CNC machining processes and production workflows required
- Experience with process development, routing creation, and work instructions required
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Ability to stand for long periods of time as needed on the production floor
- Familiar with safety standards and PPE utilized in a manufacturing setting
- Must have reliable transportation and work overtime as needed
- Ability to read, write and understand English
- Proficient in blueprint reading and GD&T
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling, and materials
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Experience with ERP systems (JobBoss or similar) preferred
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
