Rehab Director COTA
Sprenger Wellspring Silver Maple · Village of the Falls - Olmsted Falls, OH 44138
About The Role
## Description
**Director of Rehabilitation – In-House**
*If you’re a strong clinician ready to lead and you want to do it in an environment that puts patients and people first — this role is intentionally different.*
We are an in-house, family-owned therapy organization — not a contract therapy company. Our Directors of Rehabilitation are clinical leaders first, supported by an organization that values outcomes over volume and invests in the teams they lead.
**Why DORs Choose Sprenger Therapy**
- In-house therapy model — your decisions serve your residents and your team, not a contract company’s margin
- Clinical leadership respected — you set the standard for care in your building
- Operational support provided — systems, resources, and leadership that back you up
- Stable, family-oriented culture — leadership knows who you are and invests in your success
- Growth within a 12-facility network — opportunity to influence therapy operations at the program level
- Care decisions guided by outcomes and ethics — not short-term volume targets
- Our therapy teams operate differently — and it shows in our retention and culture.
- **What You’ll Do**
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary therapy team including PT, OT, SLP, and therapy assistants
- Oversee clinical quality, productivity, and compliance across your therapy department
- Manage caseload, scheduling, and staffing in coordination with building leadership
- Monitor and drive functional outcome performance including GG score tracking
- Collaborate with admissions, nursing, and interdisciplinary care teams to support census growth and care continuity
- Mentor clinical staff and foster a culture of excellence, autonomy, and patient-centered care
- Serve as the primary therapy liaison to building administration and corporate leadership
**What We’re Looking For**
- Active clinical license in good standing — PT, OTR, PTA, COTA, or SLP
- Clinical experience in a SNF setting — prior DOR experience a plus but not required
- Strong clinical foundation with the ability to lead, develop, and retain a therapy team
- Comfortable managing productivity, scheduling, and compliance alongside clinical responsibilities
- Commitment to outcomes-driven, ethics-led care
- A natural leader who builds culture, not just manages schedules
**Pay & Benefits**
- Competitive compensation based on experience
- Flexible scheduling
- Generous 401(k) with company match
- Continuing education units (CEUs) — available
- Paid time off and vacation pay
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- Company-paid life insurance
- Tuition reimbursement
- Growth opportunities within a 12-facility network
**From Our Therapy Team**
