## Description

**Job Summary:**

The Machine Operator will perform proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories to be used on a project. They must be able to perform assigned job duties on time and according to design specifications and work instructions.

**Duties/Responsibilities:**

  1. **Machine Setup and Operation:**
  • Set up machines according to specifications, including adjusting settings and loading materials.
  • Operate assigned machinery safely and efficiently to produce high-quality products.
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure smooth functioning and identify any issues or malfunctions.
  1. **Quality Control:**
  • Conduct regular quality checks on products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
  • Take corrective action as needed to address any deviations from quality requirements.
  • Document quality control data and report any non-conformities to supervisors.
  1. **Production Monitoring:**
  • Monitor production output and efficiency, making adjustments to optimize performance and minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot machine issues and perform minor repairs or adjustments as necessary.
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff for complex repairs or maintenance tasks.
  1. **Safety and Compliance:**
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Report any safety hazards or incidents to supervisors immediately.
  1. **Documentation and Reporting:**
  • Keep accurate production records, including machine settings, production counts, and quality control data.
  • Communicate production issues or concerns to supervisors in a timely manner.
  • Participate in meetings and training sessions as required.

## Qualifications
**Competencies:**

  • Must be able to understand written and oral instruction and have the ability to communicate effectively with others.
  • Solid understanding of production machinery and proper assembly procedures.
  • Excellent knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols and regulations.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • **Education and Experience:**
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 0-1 years of experience.
  • **Physical Requirements:**
  • Must have the ability to lift, climb, push and pull as needed.
  • May have prolonged periods of walking and standing.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
