**Position Summary**
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness, appearance, and condition of assigned residential communities and homes. This role ensures a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, guests, and team members while upholding The Boyd Companies standards of excellence.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Maintain clean, odor-free, leasing areas to include the office and safe living environments for residents and guests.
- Perform routine cleaning and upkeep of assigned areas, ensuring timely completion of daily and weekly tasks.
- Assist with turnover and preparation of units for new residents, ensuring they meet company standards prior to occupancy.
- Handle all cleaning equipment, materials, and supplies safely and efficiently.
- Report any maintenance, safety, or housekeeping concerns promptly to management.
- Complete special cleaning projects as assigned.
- Support general groundskeeping tasks, such as trash removal and light exterior cleaning.
- Attend and participate in mandatory meetings and scheduled training sessions.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail, time management, and customer service skills.
- Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude while interacting with residents, coworkers, and management.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
## Qualifications

- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with prospects and residents.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record required.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background and credit check.
- Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred.
