HEAVY DUTY CLEANER

## Description

The***Heavy Duty Cleaner*** is responsible for cleaning of all food department back of the house areas and equipment to meet levels of sanitation in accordance with the health department.

**Responsibilities:**

• Cleaning and breaking down kitchen equipment (stoves, hoods, floors).
• Emptying the trash in all the kitchens replace ice from the salad bars.
• Clean drains, walls, and counters.
• Other duties as assigned.

## Qualifications
**Education and Experience:**

• High School Diploma and/or GED preferred
• Previous experience working in a kitchen or as a dishwasher is preferred.

**Additional Requirements:**

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Some computer knowledge is a plus.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with variable overtime.
• Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
