## ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
Performs a variety of general maintenance and housekeeping for the Area Command, maintains a safe, neatness and cleanliness of the facilities daily.
**Key Responsibilities:**

• Facilities Cleaning Responsibilities (80%)
• Other Responsibilities (20%)

**Physical Requirements:**

• Ability to meet attendance requirements.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively.
• Ability to perform strenuous, heavy work involving the lifting and carrying of heavy objects.
• Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing.
• Ability to exert the physical energy required to perform the needed janitorial work.
• Duties are performed standing and requires squatting, climbing, bending and walking. Any of the preceding duties may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of sitting.
• Extensive amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) frequently.

**Working Conditions:**

• Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor environment with exposure to dirt, dust, disagreeable sights and/or odors, and various temperatures.

## What We Are Looking For in You
**Education and Experience:**

• No formal education required;
• Six months experience performing general janitorial and general maintenance duties;

OR

• Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
