**About RC&S LLC**

RC&S is an industrial refrigeration company and is a part of IR PROS and has been in business for over 24 years. RC&S focuses on **Industrial Refrigeration, Air Balance/Quality, Service, upgrading, replacing old systems, and installing new systems**. RC&S has a corporate office location in Jefferson, South Dakota, this is not a Remote position, must be willing to relocate if not near Jefferson SD. Office time will be critical for a successful partnership with all internal parties.

**Position Summary**

RC&S LLC / Industrial Refrigeration Pros is seeking an experienced **Construction Manager** to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of refrigeration system installation projects. This role is responsible for managing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to project specifications.

Each Crew Supervisor reports directly to Construction Manager. All operational, safety, time off requests of supervisors, and crew members is the responsibility of the Manager

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, project management experience, organization, and a willingness to learn, if not already understanding industrial refrigeration systems. This person will be the liaison between plant personnel, Project Management, Project Engineers, Draftsman, HR, Safety, Accounting, and Payroll.

## Qualifications

**Project Planning and Coordination**

Collaborate with clients, engineers, and internal teams to understand project requirements, develop project plans, establish timelines, and support project budgets. Will be working hand and hand with Engineering during this process.

\*Travel will be required at times to conduct site visits and assessments to gather project details and ensure proper planning. Recurring site visits will be required throughout project

**Resource Management**

Coordinate labor, rental equipment, consumables. Assist with getting quotes and lining up all subcontractors needed for each project. Schedule crews, manage workflow, and ensure teams are following project specifications, timelines, and safety requirements daily.

**Budgeting and Cost Control**

Assist with developing and monitoring project budgets, tracking expenses, reviewing purchase orders, and helping control project costs throughout the construction process. Work with vendors and suppliers as needed to support cost-effective project execution. Gain knowledge with ERP system, and monitor purchases made by Supervisors

**Quality Assurance**

Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure systems are installed correctly and meet company, customer, and industry standards. Conduct regular inspections on jobsite visits and address any issues that arise during construction.

**Safety Compliance**

Work together with IR PROS Safety team to ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices. Promote a strong culture of safety, conduct or participate in safety meetings, monitor weekly safety training, be prepared to present best practices, and share learning lessons. Must be able to fill out incident reports and discuss how to improve and discuss key takeaways.

**Communication**

Open line of communication any day crews and supervisors are working. Be able to Coordinate with foremen, crews, vendors, clients, subcontractors to maintain flow and timely project completion. Communicate project updates, resolve issues.

**Documentation and Reporting**

Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, schedules, job notes, create safe work plans, lift plans, and any other required info needed. Provide regular updates to all parties involved from an internal and leadership standpoint regarding project status, milestones, and any changes to the original plan.

**Client Relations**

Build and maintain positive client relationships by providing professional communication, on site presence, addressing concerns, answering questions, and ensuring expectations are met throughout the project.

**Qualifications**

• Experience managing construction projects, or a related field
• Willingness to learn if not containing knowledge of refrigeration systems and installation processes.
• Have experience in job-site coordination, Overseeing, managing Supervisors, crews, and construction safety
• Experience with Mechanical systems is preferred but not required.
• Ability to manage crews, schedules, materials, vendors, and project timelines
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer service
• Ability to travel to job sites as needed
