### **MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**

### • Provide a clean, safe environment for children 0 months-K5

### • Follow the curriculum provided

### • Maintain room and storage area in a neat orderly manner

### • Collaborate with co-teachers to provide balanced responsibilities

### • Adhere to policies of Elmbrook Church Kid’s Ministry

### • Implement established health and safety measures

### • Implement security system on a daily basis

### • Greet parents in a warm and friendly manner

### • Be available to discuss concerns regarding individual children

### • Be flexible with room assignments and other responsibilities

## Qualifications

• Demonstrate a vibrant and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
• Active participant, member or friend of Elmbrook Church who supports and endorses the statement of faith, core values and vision
• Knowledge and/or experience in working with young children

• **EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION**
• This position is part-time, hourly and classified as nonexempt, approximately 2-3 hours/week
• Salary – $15.45/hour
• **REPORTING STRUCTURE**
• The Lake Country Leap Teacher will be accountable and report directly to the Lake Country Children’s Ministry Coordinator of Elmbrook Church.
