**The Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg, a skilled nursing and independent living community, is actively seeking candidates for Charge Nurse/LPN openings. This position will provide direct nursing care to the residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nurse aides. Our Nurse Management Team works on the floor with our staff to provide the highest quality of resident care.**

*Responsibilities:*

• **Performs all prescribed med passes during shift according to orders.**
• **Provides nursing care to the residents and supervises the day-to-day operations of nurse assistants.**
• **Reports all accidents/incidents and changes in a resident's condition observed on shift.**
• **This is a supervisory position that reports to the Director of Nursing.**
• **The hours and days of work vary as needed.**

*Qualifications:*

• **GPN or graduate of an LPN program.**
• **Minimum of one year of experience in a long-term care setting preferred.**
• **Ability to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 50 lbs.**
