Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate waste management vehicle to collect and transport waste.
• Communicate with dispatch to receive and relay information.
• Interact with customers to address any service issues at their location.
• Operate vehicle controls and equipment properly.
• Comply with FMCSA regulations, company safety rules, and lockout tagout requirements.

Located in Plainville, Berlin, Southington, New London, North Franklin and Westerly, CWPM is an industry leader in waste removal, recycling services and dumpster rentals to customers throughout the states of Connecticut and Rhode Island. Additionally, CWPM owns and operates 5 State of CT DEEP permitted transfer stations in Berlin, Plainville, Bozrah, Southington and New London, as well as operate municipal owned facilities.

## Qualifications

Required Education

• Valid CDL and medical card

Required Experience

• 3+ years of driving experience
• Clean driving record

Required Skills and Abilities

• Ability to safely operate waste management vehicles
• Good communication skills with dispatch and customers
• Proficiency in operating vehicle controls
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations
• Understanding of company safety rules and lockout tagout requirements
