**Job Summary**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including patient homes and assisted living facilities. This role requires a strong commitment to patient advocacy, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. PREVIOUS HOSPICE EXPERIENCE PREFERRED. **BetterRx** **experience preferred. FireNote EMR and experience preferred.**

Our offices are located in Allen, TX but the areas of the Metroplex in need of RN coverage are as follows: **Fort Worth, Arlington, Tx.**

**Responsibilities**

  • Assess and monitor patient health status, including vital signs and medical history.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, particularly those with dementia or disabilities.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management, including family planning options.
  • Utilize electronic health record systems (FireNote) for documentation and patient management.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in hospice medicine to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
  • Maintain a safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.

**Skills**

  • Proficiency in using electronic health record systems (FireNote).
  • Experience in dementia care and working with individuals with disabilities.
  • Knowledge of family planning practices, bereavement and patient education techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Compassionate approach towards patient care with a focus on empathy and support.

## Qualifications

RN License

CPR Certification

At least 1 year Hospice experience
