About The Role

## Description

At KIDS ABA Services, we believe that learning happens in moments — a shared smile, a new skill, a problem solved, a breakthrough in communication. Every one of those moments matters. Behavior Technicians help create them.

We’re looking for individuals who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families by helping them build skills that lead to confidence, independence, and long-term growth.

If you want a role where you can **see the impact of your work every day**, you’ll love being part of this team.

---

# **Your Role & Impact**

As a Behavior Technician, you will work directly with children in 1:1 settings to help build communication, social, play, and daily living skills. You will implement treatment plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), collect data, and be part of a team committed to ethical, child-centered care.

You’ll be trained, supported, and developed — no prior ABA certification required.

---

# **What You’ll Do**

**Direct Work With Children**

  • Deliver individualized teaching and therapy activities
  • Support communication, social play, and problem-solving skills
  • Reinforce skills during structured activities and natural play

**Learning & Data**

  • Collect data on skill acquisition and behavior throughout sessions
  • Document session notes accurately and on time
  • Share observations with supervising clinicians

**Team Collaboration**

  • Receive hands-on training, coaching, and supervision
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
  • Partner with families to help generalize skills at home and in the community

**Professional & Ethical Conduct**

  • Maintain client dignity, confidentiality, and safety at all times
  • Model patience, compassion, and respect in every interaction
  • Represent the values and mission of KIDS ABA Services

## Qualifications
# **What We’re Looking For**
We are seeking individuals who believe children deserve the chance to become more independent, more confident, and more capable — and who want to be part of that process.
**Required Qualifications**

  • High school diploma or equivalent (college experience preferred)
  • Willingness to obtain RBT Certification
  • Strong communication and professionalism
  • Comfort working with children of varying needs and abilities
  • Ability to stay positive, flexible, and patient during challenges
  • Reliability — kids depend on consistency
  • Willingness to learn evidence-based strategies (no experience required)

**Who Thrives in This Role**

You’ll thrive here if you

  • Love helping children grow
  • Enjoy learning new skills and teaching strategies
  • Are curious and open to feedback
  • Stay calm under pressure and maintain emotional composure
  • Believe that ABA should build **independence, capability, and confidence**
  • Want a job that feels meaningful and rewarding

# **Why Join KIDS ABA Services**
We believe children achieve their best outcomes when the people serving them feel supported, valued, and developed — not overwhelmed or underappreciated.

Here’s what makes our environment different

### **Training & Certification Support**

No certification? No problem. We provide

  • Paid RBT training
  • Exam preparation support
  • On-the-job coaching
  • Ongoing competency development

Our goal is to help you become an excellent clinician — not just an employee.
### **A Real Career Path**

Many BTs go on to become

  • Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
  • Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs)
  • Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
  • Clinical supervisors & trainers

And we actively encourage that growth.
### **Mission Over Metrics**
We care about outcomes, dignity, ethics, and independence. Progress matters. Integrity matters. Kids matter.
### **Supportive Team Environment**
We problem-solve together, celebrate wins together, and make sure no one feels like they’re doing this alone.
### **Work That Feels Meaningful**

You will watch children

  • ask for what they need
  • play more socially
  • gain new daily living skills
  • reduce frustration
  • build confidence

Those changes matter. You will see them.

# **Be Part of Something Bigger**

At KIDS ABA Services, you won’t just be clocking hours — you’ll be helping children access their world and unlock more of their potential. You’ll be joining a team that believes in doing ABA ethically, compassionately, and collaboratively.

If you’re ready to grow, learn, and make a difference, we’d love to meet you.

**Apply today and start helping kids thrive — one meaningful moment at a time.**
