**The Opportunity**: The **Supervisor, Golf Shop** is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the golf shop, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and member-focused experience. This individual will maintain organization, manage inventory, and supervise staff to deliver exceptional service to members and guests. The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills to support the success of the club’s golf operations.

**Duties and Functions**

• Oversee daily operations to ensure they run smoothly and effectively.
• Restock merchandise and ensure all areas are fully stocked and presentable.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the golf shop at all times.
• Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Train, mentor, and support new staff members to uphold service standards.
• Manage staff scheduling to ensure appropriate coverage.
• Conduct month-end inventory and prepare accurate reports.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to maintain stock.

**Qualification Standards**

• Previous experience in retail management or golf shop operations preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for engaging with members, guests, and staff.
• Proven ability to handle customer concerns with professionalism and tact.
• Leadership skills with experience in training and supervising staff.
• Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and basic inventory management.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in business, hospitality, or related field a plus.
