**The Opportunity**: The **Beverage Steward** plays a vital role in supporting the club’s beverage program by maintaining accurate inventory, restocking service areas, and ensuring all beverage storage and preparation spaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. This position works closely with bartenders, servers, and management to ensure efficient operations and exceptional member and guest service.

**Duties and Functions**

• Maintain accurate beverage inventory, including receiving, organizing, storing, and rotating stock.
• Replenish all bar and service stations with beverages, glassware, garnishes, mixers, and supplies.
• Assist bartenders and servers by preparing non-alcoholic beverages and basic drink components as needed.
• Ensure all coolers, storage areas, and beverage equipment remain clean, sanitary, and well organized.
• Monitor product freshness, expiration dates, and overall quality standards.
• Follow proper alcohol handling procedures and adhere to all safety, sanitation, and responsible-service guidelines.
• Assist with weekly or monthly inventory counts, documentation, and discrepancy reporting.
• Provide guest service support during high-volume periods, ensuring prompt, courteous service.
• Report low stock levels, equipment issues, or safety concerns to management promptly.
• Uphold all club policies, responsible alcohol service protocols, and brand presentation standards.

**Qualification Standards**

• Knowledge of beverage products, including spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic selections.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in stocking and inventory tasks.
• Ability to safely lift and move cases, crates, and kegs (typically 40–50 lbs).
• Basic math skills for inventory, portion control, and documentation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Prior experience in hospitality, bartending, or beverage service preferred; not required.
