**The Opportunity**: The **Kids Club Ambassador** is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and fun environment for children while their parents enjoy the amenities of the club. This role provides attentive supervision, organizes age-appropriate activities, and delivers a warm, welcoming experience that reflects the club’s commitment to exceptional service. The Ambassador serves as a positive role model, ensuring each child feels included, supported, and excited to participate.

**Duties & Functions**

  • Supervise children in the Kids Club area, ensuring safety, well-being, and adherence to club policies at all times
  • Plan and lead age-appropriate games, crafts, educational activities, and recreational programming
  • Provide a friendly welcome to families, assisting with check-in and check-out procedures
  • Maintain accurate attendance records and ensure only authorized individuals pick up children
  • Enforce health, safety, and behavioral guidelines in a calm and professional manner
  • Monitor play areas and equipment to ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper use
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to minor injuries, conflicts, or concerns
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child’s experience and any issues that arise
  • Support special events, themed activities, holiday programs, and camps as needed
  • Assist with setup, cleanup, and inventory of supplies and materials
  • Uphold the club’s standards of hospitality, professionalism, and confidentiality

**Qualification Standards**

  • Previous experience working with children in a childcare, camp, school, or recreation setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage positively with children of varying ages
  • Patient, energetic, and dependable with a genuine passion for working with youth
  • Ability to remain calm, attentive, and professional in a dynamic environment
  • Basic knowledge of child safety practices; CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow established procedures
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and actively participate in play for extended periods
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
