**The Opportunity**: The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all members, guests, team members, and property at the country club. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment while upholding the standards of discretion and professionalism expected in a luxury club setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong presence, excellent judgment, and a proactive approach to risk mitigation.

**Duties and Functions**

• Monitor club premises through patrols and surveillance systems to detect and prevent security breaches.
• Control access to the property by verifying identification, authorizing entry, and directing visitors and deliveries.
• Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, disturbances, or other incidents.
• Assist with investigations and documentation of accidents, theft, property damage, or other security-related events.
• Ensure compliance with club policies, local laws, and safety regulations.
• Provide support during special events, high-traffic times, or VIP visits.
• Maintain daily activity logs and prepare detailed incident reports as needed.
• Escort team members or guests when required to ensure personal safety.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary.
• Offer friendly, professional assistance to members and guests while maintaining situational awareness.

**Qualification Standards**

• High school diploma or equivalent required; security certification or relevant training preferred.
• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military service highly desirable.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Current CPR/First Aid/AED certification or willingness to obtain.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional demeanor and ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physically capable of standing/walking for extended periods and responding quickly to emergencies.
