**Direct Support Professional: Residential - PART TIME - Capital Region**

**Shifts available:**

**Schenectady: 9am-9pm Fridays and Saturdays(20 hours) This is part time benefit eligible position**

**Schenectady: 5PM on Fridays through 8PM on Saturdays; (20 hours +7 hours overnight paid at the asleep rate) **This is part time benefit eligible position****

****Schenectady:**1pm-11pm Sunday, 6pm-11pm Monday, 6pm-11pm Tuesday. (20 hours)**

**Schenectady: Thursday: 11AM - 9PM, Friday: 11AM - 9PM, Saturday: 11AM - 5PM (26 hours)**

**Schenectady: Monday: 8am-4pm, Tuesday: 8am-2pm, Wed: 8am-2pm (20 hours)**

**East Greenbush :****Tuesday: 5pm-8pm,****Wednesday: 5pm-9pm,****Thursday: 5pm-10pm,****Friday: 5pm-8pm,****Sat- 5p-10pm****(20 hours)****This is part time benefit eligible position.**

**Pay Range: $19.45-$25.05/hr based on verifiable direct care experience**

**What does a Direct Support Professional do in a residential setting?**

Help the people who live there by assisting them in activities, like

  • Cooking
  • Doing laundry
  • Running errands
  • Teach people with disabilities how to do things on their own

**Job duties may include:**

  • Taking individuals to appointments and activities
  • Writing notes as needed.
  • Helping individuals with tasks like cooking, cleaning, showering, toileting, shopping, and managing money
  • Other duties as need

## Qualifications
**Other Requirements:**

  • A valid NYS license and clean driving record required
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
