## Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for our Day Hab participants, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work and understand the importance of cleanliness in a Day Habilitation setting.

**Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of Position:**

• Clean and sanitize classrooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas daily
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces as needed
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces and ensure all areas meet health and safety standards
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly
• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
• Assist with setup and cleanup for school events or activities
• Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate staff
• Follow cleaning schedules and protocols, including those related to infection control

## Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience preferred, especially in a school or childcare setting.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of cleaning products and safe usage practices.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks (e.g., lifting, bending, standing for extended periods)
• Must pass background checks and meet all health and safety requirements.
