Pre-K Teacher

## Description

**Boys and Girls Club of Winnemucca needs a Pre-K Teacher with a degree in Early Childhood Education or Development for children aged 3-5 for our Early Learning Center!**

This position is a salaried teacher position aligned with the school district and Boys & Girls Club calendar, including closing for summer break. Instructional hours are expected to be 8am to 1pm, with additional prep time before and after instruction, likely 7:30am to 2pm.

**Because the position is funded through the state, this position REQUIRES some qualifications from you, including:**

• Any one of the following:
• Bachelor’s Degree in ECE or ECSE
• Bachelor’s Degree in any field and state-approved ARL in Early Childhood
• Bachelor’s Degree in any field and 30 or more ECE college credits
• Already enrolled in the TEACH program for an early childhood-related degree

You will have the opportunity to focus on children by

• planning and leading academic and social-emotional activities in a 10:1 class,
• and engaging with student families.

• Prepare supplies and materials for lessons and exercises.
• Manage student portfolios.
• Maintain the safety of our children and staff, and ensure an optimal experience for all.

## Qualifications

• Experience with MS Word, and Brightwheel are also preferred.
