Window Fitter

Key Responsibilities

• Remove old windows & doors, and prepare the openings for the replacement products
• Install the windows and doors according to specifications and requirements
• Glaze the new windows on site
• Seal and weatherproof all installations to the highest standard.
• Patch plaster internal reveals
• Fit new timber & pvc windowboards
• Carry out repairs and adjustments to existing fittings when required.
• Liaise with customers on-site, maintaining a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain a tidy and organised work area.

Requirements

• Experience in window and door/glazing installations
• Skilled in both uPVC and aluminium systems
• Basic plastering (bonding and skimming)
• Ability to fully re-form damaged reveals an advantage
• Clean driving licence
• Conversational English
