About The Role

## Description

WHO WE ARE: Quality Community Health Care (QCHC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) operated health care center since 1980. We provide service at 3 locations in Philadelphia, PA, managing the health and wellness of patients from infants through senior citizens. We practice medicine as a partnership between us and our patients.

POSITION PURPOSE: The qualified candidate will provide patients with OB/GYN care services. The individual must be proficient in treating various medical problems ranging from preventive care to more complex and difficult-to-identify conditions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

  1. Diagnosing and treating conditions that affect women, such as certain types of cancer and conditions like menopause.
  2. Working with expecting mothers to explain the childbirth process.
  3. Performing routine checkups with patients.
  4. Providing prenatal and postpartum care for new mothers.
  5. Formulate and implement health management and plans with patients.
  6. Maintain patient records in the prescribed manner (problem-oriented record system).
  7. Write and dictate letters and summaries, referrals, etc., for appropriate coordination/continuity of care.
  8. Assist with and participate in staff/community health education projects.
  9. Participate in weekly case conferences and chart audit systems on a regular basis.
  10. Participate in regular continuing medical education activities (50 credit hours per year).
  11. Provide adequate patient encounters (minimum) per year.
  12. Perform other related work as required by the Supervisor.
  13. Carry out QCHC House Rules.
  14. Maintain accurate logs and record keeping.
  15. Active participation in the Quality Assurance Program.
  16. Participate in quarterly peer reviews.

## Qualifications
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:**

  • Ability to provide care in telehealth services.
  • Able to work with little supervision.
  • Hardworking team player.
  • Willingness to travel to additional QCHC medical sites.
  • **QUALIFICATIONS:**
  • **Education:**
  • Proof of Medical Degree and completion of Residency from accredited school.
  • PA Licensure
  • Board Certification
  • Clearance from National Data Bank
