| | DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | |
| | | |
| - Interprets procedures, specifications, and drawings to determine if product meets standards. - Uses calipers, dial indicators, micrometers, thickness gauges, surf testers, radius gauges, and height gauges to determine if product meets standards. - Inspects and approves incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials. - Inspects in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, communicating required adjustments to QC Lead or production supervisor. - Approves finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work, and confirming re-work. - Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizes re-work and waste, and inputs data into quality database to create required documentation. - Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calibration requirements and calling for repairs. - Notify QC Lead or quality management of trending nonconformances / rework issues. - Provide on the job training to new employees as needed - Follow all safety and health policies and procedures issued by the company - Must be able to work with minimal supervision - Other duties as assigned | | |

| | EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS | |

| - Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent. | | |

| | REQUIRED SKILLS | |
| | | |
| - Ability to read tape measure accurately. - Detail oriented and high organization skills. - Ability to utilize and read quality inspection equipment accurately. - Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers. - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required. | | |
