Beautician - Contractor

## Description
Kidron Bethel Village is looking for a contract Beautician to join our team!
**Responsibilities**

• Provide cosmetology services to residents in Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Health Care neighborhoods on a regularly scheduled basis.
• Prioritize scheduling for Assisted Living and Health Care residents.
• Maintain and communicate daily appointment schedules with nursing staff and coordinate services to avoid conflicts with resident care and activities.
• Provide services in the community beauty shop and, when appropriate, in residents' rooms when travel to the salon is not safe or practical.
• Maintain a current fee schedule and provide clear information regarding services and pricing to residents.
• Submit accurate daily service records, including client names, services provided, and charges, to the Business Office.
• Collect payment from all clients who are not eligible to charge services to their resident account.
• Supply and maintain all necessary cosmetology equipment and supplies, except those provided by Bluestem Communities.
• Ensure secure storage of salon products and potentially hazardous materials.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional salon environment, including daily removal of hair and trash and routine light housekeeping.
• Provide services in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.

## Qualifications
**Requirements**

• Current Kansas Cosmetology License in good standing and maintained at the contractor's expense.
• Professional cosmetology experience with the ability to provide services to older adults in a senior living environment.
• Ability to work independently as an independent contractor.
• Maintain current professional liability insurance and provide proof of coverage upon request
