**Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers** (WMCHC) is seeking a **Certified** **Medical Assistant** to join the team at our **Honesdale Women’s Health Center**. The role focuses on delivering outstanding patient care while efficiently managing the administrative and operational tasks of the medical office.

***What you will do as a WMCHC Medical Assistant:***

• Answer phones in a timely, professional manner. Forward calls or takes detailed messages as appropriate.
• Demonstrate proper and accurate charting of patients and procedures.
• Demonstrate effective knowledge of medical terminology and medical abbreviations.
• Cooperatively assist doctor with office exams and procedures.
• Demonstrate bandaging skills.
• Demonstrate knowledge of basic first aid.
• Appropriately perform/demonstrate knowledge and/or use of vitals, exam room preparation, medical/surgical aseptic techniques, patients’ rights and ethics, venipuncture, collecting specimens, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.
