**Veterinary Technician – Surgery**

**What You’ll Do:**

• Assist with surgical procedures and patient preparation
• Support surgeons and the surgical team during procedures
• Assist the Anesthesia team with cases
• Provide attentive pre- and post-operative patient care
• Maintain sterile technique and surgical suite readiness
• Communicate clearly with team members to ensure smooth, safe workflows

**Essential Physical Functions:**

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Lift up to 50 lbs independently; assist with larger patients
• Safely handle and restrain animals of varying sizes and temperaments
• Bend, kneel, and reach throughout the shift
• Use fine motor skills for technical tasks and instrument handling
• Work in a fast-paced environment with noise, odors, and PPE

## Qualifications
**What We’re Looking For:**

• Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) preferred, or equivalent experience
• Comfort with patient handling, basic anesthesia, and monitoring
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to jump in where needed
• Interest in surgery and procedural workflows
