Job Purpose

• The Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) at TRUECARE NURSING SERVICES LLC plays a crucial role in providing essential care and support to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. The CNA is responsible for assisting with daily living activities, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and promoting the overall health and dignity of patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure, and report any changes to the nursing staff.
• Help patients with mobility and physical exercises as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, enhancing their quality of life.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by ensuring patient rooms and common areas are tidy and sanitized.
• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
• Follow all safety and infection control protocols to protect patients and staff.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in patient care.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising nurse or healthcare team to support patient care and facility operations.

## Qualifications

Required Education

• CNA certificate

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Certified Nurse Aide in a healthcare setting.
• Experience in providing patient care and assistance with daily living activities.
• Familiarity with healthcare protocols and safety regulations.
