About The Role
## Automotive Car Runner
Car runners work with the service and sales departments moving vehicles around the dealership lot, retrieving vehicles for customers when service is complete and providing general clean-up work for the dealer.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Prepare vehicles to be serviced by putting down mats and plastic to protect interiors, locate
- key tags and drive vehicles from the service lanes to the service bays.
- Move vehicles not currently being serviced keeping parking/holding areas orderly so that
- vehicles can be easily located and moved.
- Keep the service aisle lanes clean and free of debris.
- Assist customers and co-workers with the rental/loaner vehicle intake/outtake process.
- Drive vehicles through an automatic car wash system.
- Retrieve newly-serviced vehicles for customers.
- Provide general clean-up duties as necessary to ensure service, shop, customer, parking and
- traffic areas remain clean and orderly.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Less than high school education
Experience: No prior experience necessary
Computer Skills: Ability to learn general computer operations.
Certificates & Licenses: Must possess a valid driver's license. Must meet and maintain standards for
driver acceptability as determined by the insurance company utilized by the dealership.
Other Requirements: Must have the ability to learn to operate a standard shift vehicle. Must be neat
in appearance and courteous to customers.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 9:30 am to 6:00 pm
