About The Role
## Description
- Advise and register students, participate in retention, placement, and educational activities;
- Demonstrate ability to supervise independent research projects;
- Maintain accurate academic records for students;
- Participate in the development and coordination of course schedules;
- Participate in instructional committees;
- Assist in student recruitment
- Assume College committee responsibilities;
- Participate in College community service;
- Participate in professional development;
- Demonstrate experience in using technology for course instruction
- Teach 12 credit hours per semester, conduct scholarly work, and be responsible for professional service including committee work, student advisement/recruitment, and course and program development.
- The successful candidate must be able to teach a combination of the following courses: Introductory Criminal Justice, Criminology, Criminal Law, Research Methods, and Statistics.
## Qualifications
- Ph. D. required
