PROGRAM SUMMARY

The Employment Institute, Auberle's nationally recognized workforce development program, places unemployed and underemployed individuals in career jobs, not just training. Our passionate, mission-driven team supports individuals in overcoming any barrier to employment impacting our participants, their families, and future generations. Because of our holistic model, 84% of our participants remain in their employment for six months or more, a long-term indicator of success in the workplace.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Promote the Mission and Values of Auberle as well as the program’s philosophy, principles, and procedures in the provision of all responsibilities.
  2. Utilize employment and economic data and cultivate relationships with employers to increase network of employment pipelines and create training opportunities for program participants and expand programming geographically and/or across industries.
  3. Research and implement national best practices in workforce development.
  4. Market our programs, internally and externally, to ensure that they are fully utilized by all eligible participants.
  5. Assist in the development and writing of requests for proposals.
  6. Assist in standardizing and formalizing Employment Institute model for replication across markets.
  7. Take high degree of initiative and independent judgement, while remaining within accordance of established policies, regulations, and procedures.
  8. Motivate Employment Institute team members to create and execute innovative solutions that help participants obtain and maintain career track employment.
  9. Promote the Continuous Quality Improvement philosophy at Auberle and maintain all Quality Improvement goals and objectives.
  10. May work with a small caseload of participants to help them in achieving their career goals.
  11. Demonstrate an understanding of and respect for the diversity of consumers, volunteers, staff, and other stakeholders throughout the provision of services.
  12. Perform other duties as the leadership may direct.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS

  1. Requires working flexible hours, including occasional evening and weekends
  2. Requires travel for programming activities, conferences, and meetings as needed
  3. Contact with staff and non-staff (e.g., participants, referents, business partners, and staff from other community agencies)
  4. Work is performed in an office space with occasional work performed at training or employer site

## Qualifications
**Position Requirements:**

  • Act 33/34 and FBI Clearances required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Valid PA driver’s license, vehicle, registration, and proof of insurance.
  • Requires working varied hours, including evenings, some weekends and holidays.
