| **Job Duties:** |

| - Adheres to the Gasparilla Inn and Club’s 4 Steps to Memorable Service. - Exhibit’s the Gasparilla Inn’s Core Values. - Greets each guest with enthusiasm. - Use correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces, according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements. - Ensure security of any assigned keys. - Review assignment sheet and update completed assignments. Check with Floor Supervisor and Housekeeping office for additional assignments throughout the shift. - Organize work duty priorities. - Review assigned area and complete general removal of any trash and debris on floors. - Check assigned floor closets and complete linen requisition to replenish linen supplies. - Maintain Cleanliness and organization of floor closets; remove trash, wipe down shelves/counters; sweep and wax floor; remove non-floor closet items and transport to proper storage areas. - Remove all dirty linen from assigned Room Attendant’s carts and closets and transport to Laundry Department. - Remove all dirty glasses from assigned Room Attendant’s carts and closets. Transport to dish room glass washer and wash glasses. Return clean glasses to floor closets in racks. - Clean designated areas with proper chemicals; tools and equipment: - Guest Room Floor Corridors - Floor closets - Service Corridors - Elevators, Tracks and Landings - Walkways - Porches - Stairwells - Lights & Fans - Sheds - Cottages - Assist Public AreaAttendants, Housekeeping Supervisors, Turndown Attendant, Room Attendants and Laundry Attendants with their job function to ensure optimum service to guests. - Transport any Room Service trays/items in guest hallways or cottages to service elevator landings/dishwasher. - Check under furniture for debris and remove If present. - Inspect condition of all furniture for tears, rips and stains and report any damages to Supervisor. - Dust and polish all woodwork. - Remove all dust, debris and foreign particles from upholstered furniture, including crevices and under cushions. - Dust pictures, frames, mirrors, fire extinguisher boxes, exit signs, and air vents. - Clean all lamps, light fixtures and light switches; check for proper working condition. - Remove dust, spots, and smears from windows, frames and ledges; wash windows as assigned. - Remove dust, grease and smears from house/public phones and reposition properly. - Remove dust on drapes weekly and realign to correct position daily. Inspect condition of planters and plants; remove debris and polish planters. - Remove dust, dirt, marks and fingerprints from doors and door frames. - Remove all stains, scuff marks, and dust from baseboards, ledges and corners. - Empty trash containers in public areas into proper containers for recycling. - Remove trash; debris and cobwebs from balconies and patios. - Use designated chemicals, supplies and equipment to clean various floor surfaces (mops, buffers, vacuums, wet vacuum extractor, shampoo machine, etc.). - Empty Vacuum Cleaner bags, replace and clean machines. - Provide timely delivery of any items requested by guests. Retrieve items from guest rooms and return to proper storage areas. - Report any damages or maintenance problems to the Supervisor. - Adhere to all safety and security standards for the proper use of all equipment. Be aware of all surroundings so as to prevent accidents and not damage property. - Turn over any lost and found items to the Supervisor. - Ensure confidentiality of hotel guests. - Ensure security of guest room access and hotel property. - All other duties as assigned. |

| **Working Conditions and Assignments:** |

| This position does require you to be standing and walking 90% of the time. The position requires a high degree of physical exertion such as bending, twisting, kneeling, pushing and pulling up to approximately 50 pounds. There will also an exposure to elevated noise levels of cleaning equipment.. Ability to communicate through voice and hearing as well as the ability to see the work area and do job accurately.
