## Description

Responsible for leading Early Childhood Classroom in accordance with Kentucky state licensing regulations and other standards of practice such as STARS or NAEYC as programs are acquired and implemented. Reports directly to Center Director, supervises Teacher Aides.

## Qualifications

Preferred degree: interdisciplinary early childhood education, early childhood special education, early childhood education , early childhood development, elementary education (P-5), child care assistant, child development services, individual and family studies.

Related degree: psychology, sociology, art therapy , child life, elementary education, nursing, speech therapy, counseling, human services, human services administration or program administration, nursery school teacher, university or general studies with emphasis in early childhood, physical therapy, occupational therapy.
