RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide quality and variety of instruction.
• Run a safe and healthy class - staying away from contraindicated exercises.
• Run an appropriate workout class for the given time, including - Warm-up, Aerobic work, Cool-down, Muscle Tone/Stretch.
• Stay current with techniques by reading, attending workshops, attending other classes, and attending staff meetings.
• Attendance - get to know class participants by name.
• Be prepared for classes ahead of time, have the equipment out and ready to start class on time.
• Attend staff meetings, orientations and in-service training.

## Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old;
• Be committed to the YMCA Mission and its values of caring, honesty, responsibility and respect.
• Adhere to drug and tobacco free workplace policy.
• Positive attitude.
• Doing what it takes to keep the YMCA running.
