## Description
**Overall Responsibility**: The Administrative Coordinator provides administrative and operational support across multiple departments while serving as a key resource for office coordination, scheduling, document management, and customer service. This role is designed for an individual looking to build a long-term career in operations and administration by developing progressively greater responsibilities beyond traditional clerical duties.
**Essential Functions:**
- Provide administrative support to multiple departments while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Coordinate calendars, meetings, conference rooms, and travel arrangements as needed.
- Prepare, format, edit, and proofread correspondence, reports, presentations, and other business documents using Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems to ensure accurate document management.
- Utilize Microsoft Outlook and Teams to coordinate communication, meetings, and scheduling.
- Perform basic Excel tasks including data entry, tracking, and maintaining spreadsheets.
- Respond professionally to internal and external inquiries, providing exceptional customer service.
- Track action items and follow up on outstanding requests to ensure timely completion.
- Assist with special projects and provide operational support to executive leadership and department managers.
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and contribute to operational efficiency.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive company and employee information.
- Support office operations by assisting with coordination of supplies, records, and general administrative functions.
## Qualifications
**Education**
- Associate degree in Business Administration, Office Administration, or related field preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
**Experience**
- 1–3 years of administrative, office, or customer service experience.
- Experience supporting multiple individuals or departments is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including: Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel (basic formulas, data entry and formatting), Word, Adobe Acrobat
- Calendar management and scheduling
- File management and document organization
