| **Job Summary** The Production Line Lead coordinates all activities related to the assigned production line(s) and the employees who work those lines. This includes employee compliance with company priorities such as safety guidelines, good manufacturing processes (GMPs) and food safety. In addition, the Line Lead assigns/coordinates personnel work activities so that each line runs efficiently. **Job Responsibilities** 1. Supports Production Supervisor in the daily operations of the manufacturing floor, ensuring the production processes from start to finish are being produced to the required specifications and company standards. 2. Organizes and directs daily operations of production employees. 3. Operates equipment to process product. 4. Ensures product is meeting standards. 5. Documents daily production activities, and ensures that all safety and GMP rules are followed and enforced. 6. Completes paperwork accurately. 7. Ensures that job duties and responsibilities are performed in accordance with company policies and procedures. 8. Must meet production deadlines. 9. With guidance from Production Supervisor, operate designated area within approved guidelines, such as labor, yield, and material use. 10. Accountable for the enforcement of procedures, general policy, work methods, equipment operation, GMP's and safety policies. | | | --- | | | |
**Job Qualifications**
- Two (2) years previous food manufacturing experience preferred.
- Lead/Supervisory experience preferred.

| 1. High School diploma or GED. 2. Ability to safely operate and maintain equipment with a high degree of precision and control in a work environment where product quality is of the highest priority. 3. Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook). 4. Experience teaching and training others. 5. Organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 6. Strong and effective communication skills – verbal and written. 7. Confident reporting to management (line performance, line status/issues, personnel problems, etc.) and willingness to recommend solutions. 8. Capable of allocating resources and recognizing those experienced and inexperience, ensuring they are assigned appropriately. 9. Sense of urgency. 10. Attention to detail. 11. Bi-Lingual in English and Spanish (preferred). 12.
