Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
- Work with residents to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence
- Support recovery from injury, surgery, or illness through therapeutic exercises and techniques
- Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate residents and families on mobility strategies, safety, and injury prevention
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PT, OT, SLP, and nursing
- Participate in care planning and goal setting
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Provide care in a compassionate, safe, and supportive environment

## Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school with an associate degree as Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Certification by the State of Wisconsin to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
