**Physical Therapist Responsibilities:**

  • Conducting initial and ongoing evaluations of children’s physical capabilities, including strength, mobility, and coordination.
  • Developing individualized treatment plans to improve children’s movement, strength, and functional independence.
  • Addressing developmental or injury-related challenges, including balance, walking, running, and posture.
  • Assisting children in achieving key milestones in motor development and mobility.
  • Providing hands-on interventions to improve gross motor function and reduce the risk of injury.
  • Working with children to improve endurance, flexibility, and coordination.
  • Collaborating with families, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive therapy plan.
  • Educating families and caregivers on how to assist in the child’s therapy at home and in the school environment.
  • Participating in school-based or B-3 team meetings to develop appropriate goals and review therapy outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of treatment and progress.

## Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school with a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
  • License as required by the State of Wisconsin to practice as a Physical Therapist.
