We're looking for a dedicated **Full-Time X-Ray Technologist** to join our growing orthopedic team. If you're passionate about patient care, enjoy working in a collaborative environment, and want a predictable Monday–Friday schedule, we'd love to meet you.

As a **Radiologic Technologist**, you'll provide high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient safety and comfort. You'll work closely with physicians and clinical staff to deliver outstanding orthopedic care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

## What You'll Do

### Patient Care

  • Welcome and escort patients to the radiology suite.
  • Verify imaging orders in the electronic medical record (EMR) prior to each exam.
  • Position patients safely and comfortably while explaining the imaging process.
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images using proper radiation safety practices.
  • Process and transmit images according to established protocols.
  • Return patients to the exam room following imaging.

### Equipment & Imaging Support

  • Import outside imaging into the PACS system.
  • Transfer imaging studies to discs as requested.
  • Monitor radiology supply inventory and communicate ordering needs.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly.
  • Clean and prepare the imaging room after each patient.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, quality assurance standards, radiation safety guidelines, and dosimeter requirements.

## Qualifications
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS**

  • High school diploma required
  • Successful completion of an accredited Radiology program
  • ARRT license required
  • Full-scope X-ray Operator license from State of Tennessee required
  • Experience taking and transmitting radio-graphic images
  • Working knowledge of managed care basics and experience working with a managed care and Medicare population
  • Working knowledge of electronica medical records and word processing software
  • Comfortable using email and interacting with Internet applications
  • Knowledge of practice management and word processing software
