## What does an Area Manager do at Bigfoot?

At Bigfoot Beverages, we show up early, work hard, and take care of our customers better than anyone else.

We're looking for an Area Manager who can build great people, develop strong customer partnerships, and create a culture of accountability. You'll lead a team of Sales Representatives, provide day-to-day coaching, and help turn company goals into results across your territory.

This is a **hands-on role**. You’ll be in the market, working alongside your team, solving problems in real time, and making sure execution is right where it matters most—on the floor.

### **What You’ll Do**

#### **Lead the Team & Own the Territory**

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of**Sales Representatives**
  • Be present in the field—**route rides, store visits, and real-time coaching**
  • Build a team that takes pride in execution, accountability, and doing things the right way
  • Drive strong communication and alignment across your territory

#### **Drive Retail Execution**

  • Ensure our products show up the right way—**full, clean, and visible**
  • Execute promotions, displays, and merchandising standards at a high level
  • Support resets, display builds, and key initiatives with sales leadership
  • Identify opportunities to improve **visibility, volume, and overall performance**

#### **Run the Operation**

  • Own **daily staffing and scheduling** to keep your territory running smoothly
  • Monitor productivity, labor, and service levels
  • Adjust quickly when things change—because they will

#### **Build Strong Customer Relationships**

  • Be a consistent presence with key accounts
  • Build trust through **follow-through and strong communication**
  • Step in and solve problems when things don’t go as planned

#### **Hold the Standard**

  • Set expectations and hold your team accountable to them
  • Coach performance, recognize wins, and address gaps directly
  • Partner with the Director of Sales to continuously improve your territory

#### **Lead Safely**

  • Promote and enforce **safe work practices** across all field operations
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and vehicle safety standards

## What we're looking for in an Area Manager?
### **What You Bring**

  • Leadership experience in **sales, merchandising, delivery, or CPG environments**
  • A strong ability to **coach, develop, and hold people accountable**
  • Experience managing **field execution and territory-based operations**
  • A mindset built on **ownership, urgency, and problem-solving**
  • Strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills
  • Experience with tools like **VIP, Margin Minder, or Microsoft Office** is a plus

**Education:**

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field **or equivalent experience**

### **What the Role Looks Like**

  • **Full-time, exempt position**
  • Schedule varies based on business needs (including early mornings, evenings, and weekends)
  • You’ll split time between **the field, warehouse, and office**
  • Expect to be out in the market regularly, working alongside your team
  • Occasional travel to locations like **Bend, Roseburg, Newport, and Coos Bay**
